A week after the Barn Pros Racing/Home Depot/Yamaha announced the decision to part ways with Jon Ames just before the final round of the 2017 Monster Energy Supercross Series, the team has added Stone Edler to the roster. This decision will take the team to two riders, as Elder will join Scott Champion in place of the currently injured Chris Alldredge. Since Barn Pros Racing/Home Depot/Yamaha is a Supercross-only operation, this deal will only be for the weekend.

The press release in full is posted below…

BPRMX is pleased to announce the addition of Stone Edler #660 to the roster for the final round of the Monster Energy Supercross series in Las Vegas. Stone only competed in two rounds this year but was in a transfer spot in Seattle before a crash took him out of the main event and in Utah made his first main event. “We are excited to have Stone on the team for the final round,” said Steve Oslund team owner. “He has had a lot of adversity in his life and his hard work is going to pay off this weekend.”

“I’m really excited for this opportunity BPR is giving me, they’re great people and an awesome team. I can’t wait for Vegas!,” said Stone.

The team will be at Yamaha of Las Vegas for Autograph Session on Friday night, so stop by to say high and get Stone’s Autograph or stop by the pits during the day on Saturday.
