American Justin Brayton, racing for Honda Genuine Racing, won his third straight 450 event in the 2016 Australian Supercross Championship in Wayville, South Australia. Brayton holeshot and led the whole way—now leading the title chase by 18 points over Dean Ferris, who was sixth in Adelaide. Americans Kyle Peters and Wil Hahn were third and fourth.

In the 250 class Hayden Mellross extended his points lead to 10 points over Jackson Richardson. American Gavin Faith, who won the first round, but failed to score any points in the second round, was second with Wade Hunter third, Wilson Todd fourth and Richardson fifth.

The Australian Supercross Championship continues at Avalon Speedway in Victoria on November 5 before the double header finale in Sydney on the November 12-13 (with Chad Reed, Cooper Webb and Ryan Villopoto joining the action).
