Yamaha bLU cRU R3 Challenge’s Alfonso Coppola dominated proceedings on a boiling hot Friday at Misano for round five of the 2017 FIM Supersport 300 World Championship. The 19-year-old Italian, who won the last race at Donington, topped both sessions to end the day on top of the combined timesheets with a 1:53.775. Robert Schotman was the next quickest bLU cRU rider in eighth, with Mykyta Kalinin ending the day in eleventh. Enzo De La Vega finished in 14th overall, while Renzo Ferreira was 23rd and Kimi Patova 27th on the day it was announced that all six bLU cRU riders will be taking part in a VR44 Riders Academy Master Class.
