Tonight, Fox Racing debuted the Moto-X Lab, and the new Shift Blue Label MX gear.

“Motocross is rooted in Style, Personality, Innovation, and Experimentation. Moto-X Lab is a space for these ideals to fully develop into concepts that are free from the constraints of time and expectation. It is the fusion of performance and creativity, transforming the future and driven by the experience. The culmination of our past and present, representing a transcendent level of creativity and innovation, not only in product but in all we do. This is the original spirit of Motocross. This is our original future.”

The big surprise of the night? That Honda HRC’s newest star racer, Ken Roczen, would switch from the Fox brand to Shift MX. This weekend at Anaheim 1, Roczen will debut the all-new premium Blue Label Shift MX Gear. We caught up with Kenny after the presentation to chat about the big switch, his feelings about the new gear, and all about his new bike, new approach, and expectations for 2017.

We also caught up with Fox Racing’s creative director David Durham, who gave us a thorough rundown of the new Blue Label gear.
